Students will learn how to use a variety of software tools, improve their digital literacy, and improve their ability to use technology successfully for productivity and innovation in student’s career.

Course Description:

Week 1: Computer Basics- An Overview
Using cloud-based collaboration tools (Chat Ai, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) – Overview of advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Week 2: Data Analysis and Visualization: Creating charts and visuals for data interpretation- Introduction to data analysis using Excel and Google Sheets

Week 3: Graphic Design and Multimedia Tools- Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Introduction- Creating and editing multimedia content for presentations and projects

Week 4: Advanced Research and Education Information Skills Using Chat Ai- Effective search techniques and information evaluation – Digital library resources and citation management tools

Week 5: Cybersecurity recommended Practices – Understanding cybersecurity threats and recommended practices for personal and professional security – Data security and privacy protection measures

Week 6: Advanced Presentations and Public Speaking Skills
– Using multimedia and advanced design tools to create powerful presentations
– Communication and public speaking abilities for professional presentations

Week 7: Final Project: Innovation Showcase- Students will demonstrate how advanced computer abilities can be applied in an innovative project or presentation.
